Having completed a master degree in architecture from the University of Manitoba, Doran is a member in good standing of both the Architectural Institute of BC and the Building Officials Association of BC. Doran received the Gold Medal Award for Outstanding Design from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.

Experience extends to both the private and government sectors. From the completion of heritage churches and school additions, to private residences, DMA is known for a high standard of architectural design.

DMA prides itself in the 'hands on' approach with all members of the design team, making for a creative project. This is achieved through both competence and the ability to understand the client's needs.
